Open Eye Stories is a space to discover and share new photographic work, by Open Eye Gallery. The platform is open to absolutely everybody. Every so often we’ll introduce a theme to respond to; these aren’t rules, just guidelines for those who might want a little creative push.
Sending over your photo story is as easy as sending an email, but if you have any trouble, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Choose 3 – 15 pictures (under 2mb, please!) that tell a story; this could be documenting your daily walk or a close study of something in your home, or old photos you want to put out into the world anew. What is it you want to share, and what links these images together?
Write up some text in a word document along with your name and give your series / story a title. Drop it all into a folder and head over to WeTransfer, where you can send your story to oes@openeye.org.uk
From there, we’ll upload your series to the site and ask for any extra details we may need.
As much as possible, Open Eye Gallery’s staff, space, online channels and networks are open and free for people to use. Our open processes and platforms make it easy to contribute to and co-author our programme.
We maintain the right to refuse to share images at our discretion.
