Independents Biennial 2024: Income support bursaries
Artists are disproportionately in receipt of income support from DWP.
Regardless of commissioning, if you are part of Independents Biennial 2024 or hope to be, and currently in receipt of any DWP income support (see list below), email info@artinliverpool.com so we can provide some financial support to ensure everybody has equal access to creating work next summer.
Amounts:
The bursaries will typically be £50, but we can support costs of £10 to £200 if the project requires it. We will also have a materials bank for production support so that artists have access to AV facilities, tools and general exhibition resources.
When you send your initial enquiry, please attach some form of evidence from DWP dated within the last three months.

Just email info@artinliverpool.com and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.
Deadline: There is no formal deadline, and we hope to be able to continue this programme responsively through until September, but do let us know as soon as possible once you have confirmed your plans for the festival.
