Trustee, Liverpool Irish Festival

Liverpool Irish Festival trustee recruitment, including Finance Lead

Liverpool Irish Festival seeks a new cohort of trustees to diversify, enrich and engage with our existing Board.

Join.

Our trustees…

  • advocate for Festival work and Irish representation via peer support and direct delivery
  • advise, oversee and support the work of paid team members
  • provide a sounding board and oversight committee for frontline work
  • attend and support events
  • attract people to our Festival and Liverpool Irish Famine Trail work
  • guide, strategise and support organisational development
  • join topic specific task groups to problem solve and deliver solutions to work issues.

Who?

We’re especially interested in hearing from…

  • young people
  • those who experience racism and/or additional forms of othering
  • people outside Irish communities interested in Liverpool’s heritage, and
  • those with arts and culture experience.

Finance specialism.

We’re additionally keen to engage a Financial Lead trustee, to assist in financial planning and projections. This need not necessarily be someone from an accounting background, but an individual with confidence in number crunching and business projections would be hugely beneficial to our ongoing strategy.
