Apply here:Â https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/QXXTQSF
Art in Liverpool are seeking committed, enthusiastic volunteers with a passion for visual arts to join the 2018 Independents Biennial team of gallery invigilators. You will be the welcoming, friendly face of the festival who will answer any visitor questions as well as act as an ambassador for the festival by promoting forthcoming exhibitions and events.
Primarily, you will be based at one of the festival’s core venues where you’ll be responsible for the safety of the festival exhibitions and the public. There will also be chance to assume an Artist Liaison role and support festival events. You’ll play a key role in shaping the festivals future by reporting back to the Art in Liverpool team about audience statistics and response.
Volunteers must be aged 18+ and available for the festival dates which are 14th July – 28th October 2018. You will be asked to work a minimum of 8 hour per fortnight but volunteer shifts are flexible so you can work full or half days. In addition, you’ll be given the opportunity to participate in the festivals Volunteer Development Programme which will include social events, skills sharing and volunteer benefits.
