We currently have the post(s) of Head of Event Operations available.
Working to the Director of Commercial Enterprises you will lead the development of an event operations strategy for Hosted by NML to deliver service excellence and encourage repeat business across NML’s portfolio of venues. You will cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate event delivery across the NML estate and will take a proactive approach to nurturing client relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels and encourage repeat business.
You will work with colleagues across NML to identify new ways to drive income through the innovative use of NML’s estate. You will contribute to future planning for the business including maximising opportunities created by the Waterfront Transformation project and finding creative solutions to ensure events can be delivered during development works.
You will be responsible for coaching, training, developing, and motivating the Events operations team to create a high-performing team focused on service excellence with meticulous attention to every detail related to event planning and delivery. You will monitor and report on sales performance working with the Head of Sales to take action to mitigate poor performance.
To be successful in this role you will be a proven events delivery leader with previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment. You will have delivered successful and tangible results, will be super organised, love attention to detail and able to motivate a delivery team to achieve positive results. You will be an experienced events professional who is familiar with the city’s business tourism offer. You will be ambitious for the success of Hosted by NML and will relish seizing new challenges and opportunities which will lead to maximising income to support the work of NML.
