Youth Project Manager, Signal Film and Media
LOCATION: Signal Film and Media, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria
SALARY / TYPE: £22,000 – £24,000 Pro rata, Part-Time (24 hours per week, £14,400 per annum). Fixed Term for 2 years.

Signal Film and Media is an award-winning charity providing creative film and digital media activities that can have real and transformational effects on people’s lives. Our vision is to have a creative community, where talent is nurtured, and people thrive. Our mission is to lead social and cultural change in Cumbria’s most isolated communities through access to digital and creative media.
We are currently seeking a Youth Programme Manager (YPM) to develop and deliver our highly acclaimed Youth Programme, which offers a range of film and digital media opportunities and aims to provide a ladder of opportunity for the area’s young people from 8yrs to 20yrs. The YPM will take a lead role in co-ordinating the research, delivery and evaluation of our Youth Programme and the ‘Signal Creatives’ pilot project funded by the
Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
We are looking for a creative and self-motivated individual with a proven interest in contemporary film, digital media, visual arts or writing, and project management with a genuine interest in supporting young people to learn and develop through creative projects.
