Youth Dance Coordinator – 12 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week, £19,483 per annum plus staff benefits
The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
In this role you will be responsible for providing coordination and project support to facilitate the operational delivery of The Lowry’s Centre for Advanced Training in Dance and Northwest Dance youth dance activity. In addition, this role requires coordination of the programme’s regional youth dance festival and internship programmes.
The successful candidate will have excellent coordination and organisational skills and knowledge of the Music and Dance/National CAT scheme. An understanding of good practice in dance education, training, the youth dance sector and the nurturing of young creative dance artists is essential. Training in safeguarding is essential.
