Pay Range £16,572 – £17,714 (Pro rata for part time hours)
At Culture Warrington we have two vacancies for Visitor Services Assistants – one full time and one part time opportunity.
Based at Warrington Museum & Art Gallery, you will be part of our Front of House team helping to ensure the smooth operation of the building for the enjoyment of visitors and the security of the collections. Committed to customer care, you will contribute towards a rewarding visitor experience by providing general assistance and information to the general public and educational groups. You will also, as part of a team, provide informal learning such as guided tours and craft activities. You must be motivated and an excellent time keeper.
Following appropriate training the successful candidate will also be involved in installing and dismantling exhibitions, and moving artefacts which requires confidence, basic technical skills (DIY and AV) and the ability to work at height.
Visitor Service Assistants are responsible for ensuring the security of the main building and related off site facilities and experience in related employment is essential.
Both jobs involve working regular Saturdays and occasional evenings, and from time to time working at other sites within Culture Warrington such as Pyramid and Parr Hall.
