We are looking for collaborative, creative and enthusiastic directors to lead on of our three spring productions in our thrust-stage repertory season: Blue Stockings by Jess Swale; a new adaptation of Strindergs Miss Julie by Amy Ng; and a new adaptation of Nikolai Erdman’s The Suicide by Rebekah Harrison. You will direct one of these plays, driving quality, aspiration, accessibilty and innovation in the design, casting, staging and presentation of the production.
You will join our small production team, working under the leadership of our artistic director and associate producer to deliver world-class productions on time, on budget to surprise, delight and inspire audiences in Chester. You will provide visionary leadership for the story you will tell, with a commitment to ensemble theatre making and to the audiences and creative talent of our communities.
