University of Bath are seeking a confident individual with arts projects and events experience to join the Office for the Arts programme team, based at The Edge.
Based around an ethos bringing together Art, Research and Adventure, year-round programmes at The Edge and Andrew Brownsword Gallery are co-ordinated by the University of Bath’s Office for the Arts including exhibitions, performing arts presentations, talks, arts classes, family and community events.
Working to the instruction of the Programme and Exhibitions Manager, you will support in planning and delivering all aspects of public programme at The Edge and Andrew Brownsword Gallery, University of Bath plus off-site projects and events with a focus on production, administration, interpretation and artist liaison.
Alongside colleagues the role works to ensure smooth realisation of public programme, liaising effectively with other departments at the University of Bath as necessary in order to contribute positively to arts provision and research engagement objectives.
The Office for the Arts organises programmes for both public and campus engagement, as well as supporting the extra-curricular interests of Bath students engaged in the performing and visual arts. It is an important time for The Edge and Andrew Brownsword Gallery as we develop an arts and science brand.
