Seed Studios is an arts and wellbeing charity based at Old Trafford Wellbeing Centre and Broomwood Community Wellbeing Centre. From these centres, we create a positive impact through music workshops which, through formal referrals, social prescription and self-referral, compliment other support that individuals receive for their emotional and mental wellbeing.
Our activities involve a diverse range of local people, some with a range of challenges including learning disabilities and autism, and varying levels of wellbeing and mental health. These people form and help shape our Seed Studios community.
Role summary
Our Team Leader position is a new role. It has been created to support our volunteers and our day-to-day delivery, alongside helping us to realise the development our Community & Engagement Lead is working towards.
Working across our two centres, they will support our volunteers in delivering our regular community workshops, empowering them to provide better personal and creative support to our beneficiaries. They will mentor volunteers and build relationships with our community, understanding their needs and wants.
This is an exciting opportunity at a growing charity doing meaningful work. We are looking for someone with an ability to make people feel listened to and enabled, as well as a start-to-finish approach to solving a range of problems in a multi-faceted role.
