We are seeking a well-qualified and experienced individual to manage and be operationally active across all aspects of our specialist digital imaging provision at Liverpool School of Art and Design, which encompasses studio, fashion and location photography, video and digital zone and imaging services for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including Architecture, Fashion, Fine Art, Graphic Design & Illustration and Spatial Design.
Alongside teaching specialist photography you will support students to develop transferable skills that are relevant to all areas of creative arts and will prepare them for the next career step. You will have enthusiasm and commitment, and the ability to provide individual guidance in a fair and approachable manner.
You will be expected to manage all aspects of delivery and H&S in the digital imaging area, to propose new developments and monitor delegated budgets for maintenance and consumables. You will have a high degree of technical expertise and operational competence in photography and digital imaging and be conversant with all the processes delivered in the digital imaging workshop. You will manage one specialist technician and be responsible for managing the workshop’s contribution towards external work and income generation.
