“She’s Leaving Home” – Stage Manager
20 Stories High are seeking a Stage Manager for the small scale 2017 local tour of “She’s Leaving Home”, taking place in people’s living rooms in the Toxteth area of Liverpool – Liverpool 8. 20 Stories High are working with Phelim McDermott (Improbable) to create a brand new show inspired by the legendary Beatles song which is part of Liverpool’s celebration of the 50th anniversary of Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club band. The show will have one main performer delivering a monologue, together with a cellist playing live and a puppeteer.
The Stage Manager will be responsible for the show and the company on the tour, as well as liaison with the homeowners who will be hosting the show. They must have excellent company management skills, and experience of community touring. They must be a highly-organised good communicator and excellent leader.
Fee: £500/week – ITC/Equity Contract
Contract: 18-28 April for R&D and then a two week break before rehearsals, production week and tour 15 May-19 June 2017.
