Our facilities provide students and staff with first-rate media production equipment, with our broadcast and post-production suites supporting Adobe Creative Cloud, Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Burli, and Myriad.
We are looking for a suitably experienced specialist to lead our production and post support team. Ideally you’ll have some experience in the production of broadcast journalism either as a video journalist, or camera operator and editor. Your technical experience will enable you to instruct, support, and advise students and academic staff in the effective use of technical resources.
Your experience in team leadership will enable you to manage the work of designated technicians and ensure the maintenance, availability, and suitability of technical resources.
You will work in partnership with the Technical Resource Manager, and as part of a broader technical team to provide a cohesive support service for the School’s objectives relating to learning and teaching, research, income generation, and consultancy.
Your duties you will also include planning and delivery of technical support for public events, exhibitions, conferences, degree shows, etc.
This post is full-time, typically Monday to Friday, but you will be required to undertake some evening and weekend work, in order to support the business needs of the School and Faculty.
