Senior Officer, Capital

Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours

Salary: Â£32,615 per annum

Based at one of the Arts Council’s offices in Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Cambridge, Brighton or Bristol

Arts Council England is seeking a full-time collaborative and inclusive Senior Officer, Capital. 

As Senior Officer in our Capital team, you will manage our Museum Maintenance, Estate and Development Fund and the Libraries Improvement Fund and support a dedicated team to deliver the Cultural Development Fund. The Capital team provides technical capital advice and expertise at all stages of the grant design and decision-making process, in addition to managing the Arts Council’s Capital programme.

If you were already in this Senior Funding Officer role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

Advising and supporting staff across the organisation to manage the effective delivery of capital investment.

Working closely with colleagues in other Investment Centre teams and with external partners and stakeholders (including DCMS)

Monitoring capital grants provided to diverse organisations for purchasing equipment, furniture, vehicles, constructing or refurbishing new buildings
