The company handles copyright and royalty administration for a large client base consisting of songwriters, record labels and music catalogue owners.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Royalty Assistant Apprentice to assist our friendly Royalty team with administering the full cycle of royalty distribution to our clients, with a focus on matching royalty income to relevant songs.
Vacancy Full Description:
The role will consist of the following responsibilities:
● Assisting with royalty data processing:
o Matching received royalty income with relevant musical work, utilising Sentric Music’s bespoke system and off-system databases.
o Assist Royalty Manager and Royalty Analyst with the preparation of artists’ statements in advance of payment distribution.
o Assist with sending statements out to artists during payment distribution.
o Import musical work codes to Sentric Music’s database & maintain database accuracy.
o Identify and retrieve statements for received payments.
o Assist with any ad-hoc tasks as required to assist the administration of royalties.

We ensure the copyright of their music is registered with the relevant societies around the world so their intellectual property is both protected and can be exploited for royalty income via traditional music publishing routes.
Artists sign up to Sentric’s service via an online portal where they can administer their copyrights and make royalty claims via their artist dashboard. Here they can also submit their music for various synchronisation opportunities. Sentric Music plays an active role in pushing their artists’ music for use on TV/movies/games/adverts/promos worldwide and is currently seeing catalogue used on prime time UK TV on a daily basis.

Working Week: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Weekly Wage: £150 weekly apprentice wage.
Future Prospects: The Royalty division of the company is expecting notable growth over the coming 12-18 months that will require extra manpower to manage the expansion. In the past we have employed people who have spent time at the company as part of university work experience placements and we will consider any successful applicant for full time employment upon completion of their apprenticeship.
