ixia, an independent charitable public art forum, is delivering an Arts Council England funded pilot programme offering targeted support to three public art projects led by local authorities in the North of England. These projects are funded through a range of place improvement investment programmes such as through the Levelling Up or Towns Funds.
ixia wishes to appoint three public art advisors for the duration of the pilot (January to June 2024), to each be matched to a selected project team drawn from local authorities, their project partners and support staff from Arts Council England and related agencies.
Advisors must be suitably experienced individual freelancers or organisations with a track record of successful public art commissioning processes and outcomes, and ideally of working with both public and private sector clients/teams.
ixia takes a fair and equitable approach to its work and expects the same for the delivery of this programme. We wish to include a range of lived experience and equitable professional practice within our work.
The deadline to apply is noon on January 8th 2024. For more information and to apply, please see https://ixia-info.org/
