The role of Project Assistant plays a key part in the student experience and is critical in delivering a wide range of student enrichment projects across Arts and Media, for example supporting the School’s high profile annual Create at Salford Festival and the Salford International Media Festival, as well as assisting with subject based exhibition and portfolio showcases, supporting induction and welcome events and year-round student engagement and community building activities.
The post holder will be involved in all functions related to the organisation and implementation of these activities and will work closely with colleagues across the school, both professional services and academic, in helping to deliver them. The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail with a creative approach to problem solving. They will regularly demonstrate excellent communication and liaison skills with a range of stakeholders, while displaying efficiency and organisation in managing multiple priorities under pressure.
