Deadline: Friday 14 August 2015. Paid (£25k-30k) Full time
In May 2015 Manchester Jewish Museum (MJM) was awarded a development grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for a major development project. The project will fully restore the museum’s Grade II* listed synagogue building and will create a new museum extension to house new galleries and spaces for learning, events and commercial operations.
The museum now requires a full-time Operations Manager to support the delivery of this project, undertaking many of the tasks currently managed by the museum’s CEO and Curator.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all museum operations and visitor services.
The role requires a proactive and flexible approach, high level administrative responsibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Further details about the role and how to apply can be found at http://www.manchesterjewishmuseum.com/vacancies/
Closing date for applications is Friday 14th August 2015.
Interviews will be held during week beginning 31st August.
