Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP) is an extraordinary place. A centre of international, national and regional importance for modern and contemporary sculpture. Sited in 500 acres of historic 18th century landscape, we now welcome over 500,000 visitors a year.
An exciting opportunity has arisen as a result of an internal restructure and we are recruiting a Director of Operations who will have strategic responsibility for the financial resilience of the organisation, visitor experience, human resources, health and safety, facilities management, IT, security and telephony, as well as overseeing the operational matters relating to the management of the 500 acre estate.
As a member of the Executive team, the Director of Operations will play a vital role in supporting and delivering the aims and artistic objectives of YSP. The post requires a highly organised and flexible leader with a strong finance and operations background, who will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and motivate multifunctional teams, in a dynamic and varied environment.
Ideally degree educated or equivalent experience, this is a varied and challenging role providing an opportunity to join this unique organisation at a very exciting time.
