Deadline: 5pm on Friday 29 April 2016.
Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse (the E&P) is a local artistic force with national significance and an international reputation. We develop, produce and present brilliant, humane, forward-thinking theatre that responds to its time and place: theatre that is relevant and extraordinary, with the widest possible embrace.
To ensure that our theatres remain vibrant, relevant, resilient and inspiring, we are preparing to introduce a new and re-focused programming and business model. A major programme of artistic and organisational change is now underway, including reshaping our company structure around the new model.
A key element in driving forward our vision for the future will be the appointment of an exceptional and dynamic individual to work closely with the Chief Executives in the new role of Managing Director.
This is an exciting and challenging new Executive role and an opportunity to play a major part in shaping the future of the E&P. You will bring inspirational leadership to the strategic development of the business, with a particular focus on Finance, Operations, Commercial and HR. You will join us in a time of change, and will be instrumental in delivering the vision outlined in our Five-Year Plan. After this major change programme is implemented, you will drive the continual development of the business to ensure the E&P remain flexible and resilient.
We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated leader with a proven track record in strategic and financial business planning; proactive human resource management, and operational management within a complex organisation. Evidence of previously leading a team through change will also be important.
Leadership, communication, analytical and people skills are essential, together with commercial acumen. Though our ideal candidate could come from a variety of backgrounds, you must share our commitment to theatre which is brilliant, daring, humane, forward-looking, relevant and popular.
Deadline for applications: 5pm on Fri 29 Apr 2016
Interviews will be held in Liverpool during the w/c 23rd May
