Grade: PO3 on NJC Scale (Pt 38-41)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £32,778 – £35,662 (fixed term contract until 31 March 2018)
Based: Liverpool
Reports to: CEO, Liverpool Learning Partnership

Liverpool Learning Partnership, working with the Liverpool Cultural Education Partnership and Curious Minds, is seeking an energetic and experienced professional to drive forward the Cultural Education Challenge across Liverpool. The postholder will play a lead role in bringing together education and cultural organisations in the city to ensure all children and young people benefit from the rich cultural offer on their doorstep.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and credible advocate for the power of the arts in education. He/she will come to us with recent experience of working in education or the cultural sector and will be able to demonstrate an up to date knowledge of current issues affecting schools. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, he/she will have a proven track record of partnership working and managing arts development and/or educational programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to be play a key role in improving the lives of Liverpool’s children and young people by facilitating opportunities for them to engage in high quality arts, culture and creative learning. Secondments will be considered from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.
