Liverpool Biennial, Programme Support Assistants

Salary: £18,297 PA

Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday â€“ Friday)

Contract Type: Temporary, March – June 2021. Final start date and dates of employment TBC.

We are now seeking to engage 2 temporary full-time Programme Support Assistants, to support the core Liverpool Biennial team on the delivery of the 2021 Biennial, focusing on how audiences go further in their engagement with the artworks within the ongoing pandemic situation and helping to reshape and trail new ways of presenting the programme and engaging audiences safely and remotely where necessary.

These posts have been designed to offer entry level jobs to anyone interested in gaining new skills, knowledge and work experience in the arts. Liverpool Biennial is committed to investing in the skills and talent of those in the local visual arts scene.

The ideal Support Assistant is someone who is passionate about contemporary art, super organised, and who will enjoy working in a non-conventional, informal and fast paced environment, where no two days are the same. Remote working is available and expected for the majority of the role, and you will be provided with the necessary equipment to allow this. You may occasionally be asked to be present in person, either at Liverpool Biennial’s offices or at one of our venues in the city-centre. In this case, full training will be given in all necessary measures to keep you and our audiences safe, and you will be provided with the correct Personal Protective Equipment to enable you to work confidently and safely.

Application packs can be downloaded here or by email from jane@biennial.com

Closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 22 February 2021 and interviews are expected to be held on 3 March and 5 March. Interviews will most likely take place over Zoom.
