LB2021 Festival Guides
Salary: £17,606 PA
Hours: 37.5 per week (Wednesday – Sunday)
Contract Type: Temporary, March – June 2021. Final start date and dates of employment TBC.
We are now seeking to engage a group of 12 temporary full-time Festival Guides, who will provide a high quality mediation and interpretation service to our in-person and virtual visitors, making them feel welcome, engaged and safe. These posts have been designed to offer entry level jobs to anyone interested in working in the arts. Shifts will be spread across 5 days Wednesday – Sunday. You’ll receive a full digital induction on the festival and artworks, plus training on the logistical and practical ways to make visiting Liverpool Biennial a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience.
Our ideal Guide is someone who is passionate about contemporary art and who will enjoy working in a non-conventional, informal and fast paced environment, where no two days are the same. Full training will be given in all necessary measures to keep you and our audiences safe, and you will be provided with the correct Personal Protective Equipment to enable you to work confidently and safely.

Closing date for receipt of applications is 12pm Monday 22 February 2021 and interviews are expected to be held on 3 March and 5 March. First interviews will most likely take place over Zoom.
