These posts will enhance and consolidate practice-led research in Art and Design at Liverpool School of Art and Design. Each post requires you to contribute to the academic work of the School of Art & Design. In particular you will be expected to take an active contribution to the fine art programmes, and you will also have experience in creative art practice and research.
You will contribute to the organisation, delivery and assessment of elements of the BA Fine Art and/or MA Fine Art programmes. You will also be expected to undertake significant research and scholarship in the field and contribute to the academic life of the School, Faculty and University.
BA Fine Art at Liverpool School of Art & Design is an established course with an established reputation for excellent graduates. The city of Liverpool is a vibrant place for students to study and supports the course as a hub for research and live projects. The course is taught by nationally and internationally-renowned artists who work with installation, video, painting, printmaking and art theory with additional workshops provided in audio/video production, sculpture/3D, printmaking, life art and painting. There are also opportunities for all students to work with leading arts organisations (Tate Liverpool, Biennial, Bluecoat and FACT) and the programme encourages experimental and creative practice.
