About the Role
The Performing Arts Department
has developed in recent years a progressive forward looking philosophy linked to its rapid growth and development. The department is offering an extensive undergraduate portfolio, recently revalidated, offering Dance, Drama, Dance and Drama, Musical Theatre, Design for Performance with optional specialist pathways available to students including Aerial Performance, Technical Theatre and Circus Arts.

About You
You will play a significant role in the delivery of the Dance and Dance for Musical Theatre programmes whilst contributing to and collaborating with the wider Performing Arts team. You will have a good relevant honours degree along with higher qualifications and / or professional experience. As an enquiring, enterprising and creative practitioner with a passion for the subject you will demonstrate a sound understanding of the role of arts education in this research led department. Expertise in the areas of Theories of Western Dance Theatre and studio practice in a range of contemporary dance styles, including Ballet and Dance for Musical Theatre would be an advantage.
