Person Specification
The post holder will report to the Head of Student Services, and work closely with the Learning Support Coordinator and expanding Learning Support Team. The post holder will have a key role in upholding all Student Support systems and will support students within the learning environment to assist their academic, intellectual, social and emotional development.
They will ensure all students learning support needs are met and that each student completes their studies and achieve to the highest level and progress. With their specialist skills and through collaborative working across Student Services and the academic team, they will contribute to our goals of high student satisfaction, achievement and employability.
They will have substantial experience as a practitioner supporting students with specific learning difficulties and ideally, a professional qualification in this field. They will be able to interpret and communicate psychologists’ reports and will have detailed knowledge of funding available to disabled students in Higher Education.
