JOB OPPORTUNITY: LEARNING PRODUCER – FACT

PURPOSE OF POST
The Learning Producer will be working closely with, and support the Learning Manager and the rest of the team to design, coordinate and deliver FACT’s Learning Programme. The programme works on art commission and long-term projects with a diverse range of groups, including but not limited to: young people, both a formal and informal learning strand, intergenerational groups, adults and different communities.
The collaboration of artists and participants is at the core of the programme, together with the ethical responsibility towards both the artwork and the work and representation of the participants.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To produce art commissions and projects:
- Recruit the commissioned artists in collaboration with the Learning Manager and
work with them to produce their proposals in collaboration with stakeholders,
participants, and the rest of the team. - Oversee projects timelines and coordinate with other teams in the organization as
part of the different projects and programmes.
To provide administrative support:
- Monitor programme budgets, cash flow and support the consolidation of
management accounts, in collaboration with the Finance team and the Learning
Manager. - Collaborate with the Development teams to provide information for fundraising and
report, including coordinating Learning Programme partnerships’ meetings.
To contribute to the programme’s design, narrative, implementation and evaluation:
- Contribute to the design of the programme’s strands and objectives; and support the
Learning Manager to produce written material and reports. - Ensure, with the rest of the team, that the programme aims guarantee the
achievement of agreed KPIs, outputs and outcomes for participants, partners and
FACT. - Participate in evaluation processes, collating information from artists, participants,
stakeholders and collaborators. - Support in the production of projects’ documentation and dissemination, in
collaboration with the rest of the Learning team and Marketing. - Work closely with the rest of the team and collaborators (Artists, Academic Partners,
Critical Friends and members of the community…) to ensure a reflective-based
practise is embedded at all stages of programme.
SALARY AND HOURS OF WORK
Salary: £20,000 per annumHours of Work: 35 hours per week over 5 days (1.00 FTE). This may involve some weekend and evening work and hours can be flexible to
accommodate this.
