Deadline: Friday 14 August 2015. Paid (£25k-30k) Full time
In May 2015 Manchester Jewish Museum (MJM) was awarded a development grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for a major development project. The project will fully restore the museum’s Grade II* listed synagogue building and will create a new museum extension to house new galleries and spaces for learning, events and commercial operations.
To deliver and sustain MJM’s development project a new full time Learning Manager post is to be created.
The Learning Manager will be required to manage the museum’s current learning programme whilst also developing and delivering a new audience development programme.
A key task will be to research and write MJM’s Activity Plan for the HLF Round 2 application and, subject to a HLF Round 2 pass, deliver and sustain this plan.
