To help us continue in embedding a culture of participation and audience focussed practice, the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester are looking for a Learning and Participation Manager to join their team on a 12-month, fixed-term, maternity cover contract.
In this role, you will be the point of contact for expertise and strategic direction for informal learning during the development of new galleries and exhibitions across the museum. You will use audience research to deliver and evaluate activity plans to ensure our online and in-musuem programmes are engaging and memorable to all.
Joining us, you will bring knowledge of learning theories and interpretation. Having worked with diverse audiences including school groups and families, you will know how to conduct audience-focussed research, applying findings to practice. As an engaging leader, you will be a confident problem-solver, able to manage and motivate teams and using your excellent interpersonal skills to build solid working relationships with different levels of stakeholders.
