Job description

Are you looking to start your career as a cultural heritage photographer? Do you have excellent attention to detail and proficiency in photography and digital imaging technologies?

One Collection is the Science Museum Group’s major strategic initiative to re-imagine how our world-leading collection is cared for, accessed and shared. As part of this exciting project we are looking for 3 Junior Photographers to ensure that a large proportion of our 320000 objects (stored at Blythe House) are photographed and digitised to bring our collection to the general public.

Working closely with the conservationand curatorial teams, you will capture high quality object images whilstupholding object handling standards.

It is essential to be successful in this role that you like working in a fast-paced environment and delivering high-volume, high quality photography.You must have experience working with digital imaging technologies and bring a genuine passion for working in a team and a collaborative working environment.It would be good if you have photography experience in the cultural heritage sector and/or in product photography, although this is not essential.
