HR People Manager

Based At: Calderstones Mansion House, Calderstones Park, Liverpool, L18 3JD
Reporting to:Â Deputy Head of Support Services
Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 per annum
Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week. Applications for part time / flexible working are welcome.
Duration: Permanent Contract
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a practical and organised individual who has excellent people skills and is looking to further develop their HR career across a diverse HR environment that covers all aspects of HR. You will need to be flexible and willing with a positive attitude to managing people and change. You will be at least level 3 CIPD qualified (or equivalent HR qualification), be committed to gaining further CIPD qualifications and have experience of working in HR role in the commercial, social enterprise or charitable sector.
Role responsibilities include:
- To manage the People Team to provide a strong and effective HR service within the organisation.
- To be responsible for the management of policies within the organisation including assisting in the development of new HR policies, reviewing existing policies and ensuring organisational consultation takes place in accordance with the policy management procedure.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on Employee Relations matters and HR policies such as grievances, disciplines, performance issues and to deliver training inputs on HR related topics when required.
- To manage the organisations HR data with responsibility for recording workforce data and producing HR statistics and performance data. Ensuring all personal files and data are efficiently and confidentially stored in accordance with legislative requirements.
