- Closes: 2nd August 2021
- Salary: Paid (£40k-50k)
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a new Risk and Governance function within National Museums Liverpool. This small team will facilitate and support effective risk management, governance, counter-fraud and information management arrangements across the NML group. The successful candidate will be an outstanding communicator, who can influence and engage with multiple stakeholders at different levels across the organisation, including at Executive Leadership team and Board level.
You may already be working in a similar governance or risk management role, or within an Internal Audit function. You’ll be able to demonstrate experience of developing and facilitating effective governance, information management and risk management arrangements and reporting within a complex organisation. If you are not already working in a public body or charity, you will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of our sector and the regulatory and governance frameworks within which we operate.
You may be professionally qualified in a relevant field, or working towards a professional qualification, or have commensurate experience. The opportunity to complete formal training within the role would be considered. NML are supportive of agile and flexible working although there will be a need to travel to Liverpool some of the time.
Recruitment
Working with our partner organisations in the Liverpool and North West areas, National Museums Liverpool is encouraging applications from under-represented groups by providing support and advice to applicants who may never have thought about a career in museums, art galleries and the cultural sector.
We are holding two online, live recruitment events at 6pm on 1st July 2021 & 10:30am 2nd July 2021 for us to talk about our museums, the roles, and our vision for the future. This will be an opportunity for you to find out about us and to ask our panel questions about the job and application process.
