The Marketing and Student Recruitment Department is responsible for delivering marketing, communications and recruitment activities that support and promote our Strategic Plan 2023-26. To align with our vision and values, our ambitious strategic plan focusses on the core themes of, Excellence, Equity, Environment, Empowerment, Employability and Entrepreneurship. This is an exciting time in our evolution as we embark upon acquiring degree awarding powers, expanding, and enhancing our portfolio of degree programmes, profiling and promoting our unique learning group comprising of LIPA Primary School, LIPA High School, LIPA Sixth Form College and LIPA HE, and planning for our 30th anniversary celebrations.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is a pro-active, creative, and highly experienced marketing and communications leader with strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to drive change to join us in this newly created position.
You will report to and work closely with the Director of Marketing & Student Recruitment to develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing and student recruitment strategy and lead our corporate marketing team in forging a dynamic, digital-focused approach to our marketing and communications.
We are proud of our alumni successes, and we want someone who will share that pride in communicating success stories. Therefore, you will take a proactive and hands-on approach to developing and delivering an effective alumni relations strategy that informs, supports, and engages our worldwide alumni community and maintains our strong global brand.
In addition, you will play a pivotal role in implementing new systems (including a new CRM system), streamlining internal and external processes and workflows, and establishing a standardised framework of briefing, campaign management and analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification, proven expertise in marketing, brand and communications preferably gained within Higher Education or the Arts. A postgraduate or professional qualification e.g., CIM would be advantageous.
You will be an inspiring leader with excellent communication and project management skills who can motivate others to embrace change. You will have a strong track record in implementing effective CRM strategies and systems and a keen eye for detail and passion for harnessing data and using insights and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
