We are looking for a creative, experienced person to lead the Lakeland Arts Learning and Engagement Team in developing and delivering innovative programmes at Abbot Hall Art Gallery, the Museum of Lakeland Life and Industry and Blackwell, The Arts & Crafts House. The Head of Learning has a key role in the Windermere Jetty project, involving communities in the £16m new Museum which is due to open in 2017.
You will be an inspiring, strategic leader who is passionate about engaging a broad range of people in museums and galleries. You will have experience of planning, developing and delivering learning and engagement programmes and knowledge of best practice in learning, engagement, health and well being and audience development. You will be well organised and able to deliver to the highest standards to a set timetable.
