Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse seeks an experienced, confident and imaginative Head of Development to drive fresh growth in the theatres’ fundraising.
We are a local artistic force with national significance and an international reputation. Our mission is to produce brilliant, humane, forward- looking theatre that responds to its time and place: theatre that is relevant and extraordinary, with the widest possible embrace.
The theatres are always innovating and moving forward: most recently the new Everyman and new acting Company have attracted multiple awards and deep affection. We have some extraordinary fundraising opportunities in place, and we are now poised for our new Head of Development to take these to the next stage.
If you are an experienced, confident and imaginative fundraiser who is keen to work in an inspiring creative environment, we would like to hear from you. As Head of Development you will build on the strong foundations established in recent years to bring in new and sustainable income.  You will bring experience in the strategic development and management of fundraising and the drive to meet targets and deliver growth. You will be a creative thinker with an excellent fundraising track record, including major gifts experience. You will be able to pick up existing plans and activity, while shaping the theatres’ fundraising strategy to achieve the best results in the short, medium and long term. Your success will help us to achieve our artistic and social ambitions and craft a bright future for these much loved theatres.
