Contact is a leading national contemporary theatre and arts organisation based in Manchester, with young people at the heart of everything we do. We work locally, nationally and internationally to provide life-changing opportunities for the next generation of creative leaders, artists and audiences, redefining theatre in the process. We produce and present a professional programme of outstanding performances, events and festivals in our building, surprising places and virtual spaces, for a young and highly diverse audience. This is an exciting time for Contact, with plans for a large-scale capital re-development under way.
As Fundraising Coordinator at Contact you will bring enthusiasm, positivity and energy to the role, following a comprehensive work plan to identify and secure support for Contact’s work with artists and young people. With a professional, organised and proactive approach, you will have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. In the role you will help to co-ordinate the day to day management of Contact’s existing core funders, compiling accurate reports and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and work to secure income in the main from grant-makers, trusts and foundations, enabling Contact to carry out its creative programme. This is a varied and challenging role, and presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious fundraiser to build their experience in a welcoming, friendly environment.
