Role – Festival Coordinator
Salary – £21,000
Hours – 9:30-5pm

We are looking for a Festival Coordinator to work in collaboration with our senior membership staff to help facilitate and implement our acclaimed annual festivals WoWFEST and Black History Month.

We are looking for someone to lead on administrating and delivering our annual festivals across the city region. Working collaboratively with our leadership team and marketing departments you will be required to-
- Set up venues & coordinate with team members on site
- Organise ticketing systems
- Assist in the setup of marketing campaigns including
- Social Media Campaigns.
- Print Materials
- Website Content
- Press Releases
- Liaise with artists and partners to create events
- Work professionally alongside high-profile artists
- Make an impact culturally and locally through the work you will do

What is WoWFEST and Black History Month?
Liverpool’s first literature festival, WoWFEST brings together fascinating stories, unheard communities and vital conversations across events and discussions over the course of May.
Featuring incredible artists and speakers such as: Jo Brand, Ken Loach, Noam Chomsky, Jeremey Corbyn, Irvine Welsh, Laura Bates, Marlon James, Levi Tafari, Akala, Joelle Taylor, Elif Shafak, Amrou Al-Kadhi, Ben Okri, Nikesh Shukla, Lady Phyll, Maxine Hong-Kingston.
Alongside WoWFEST we have a month-long festival in October for Black History Month, celebrating Black talent as well as learning Black history and sharing Black creativity.
