We are seeking a Programme Coordinator to assist the Festival Director in delivering the nine-day programme taking place in June 2017. Established for six years, this vibrant community arts festival is a cultural highlight of the local calendar. An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual seeking to gain experience in events management. You should possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. You will need to work from your own base, ideally in Didsbury/South Manchester.
Suitability:Â This role would suit a recent graduate with a passion for the arts and with experience of organising events who wants to gain further experience of arts management.
Responsible for:Â To assist the Festival Director with the coordination of the festival programme, ensuring that logistics and requirements are managed effectively in the lead up to the festival and that all events run smoothly.
Fee: £3,500 flat fee – including expenses.
Period of contract: 3rd October 2016 – 14th July 2015. 1-2 days per week increasing over the festival period to cover certain events during the 9 days of the festival. Additional days and weekends may also be required during busy periods leading up to, and during the festival.
