Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week including weekends. Rotas are issued in advance and we’ll always try to accommodate other commitments where possible.

As part of the Trust’s Everyone Welcome strategy, our Experience and Programming Manager, will be responsible for fostering and developing close links with communities on our doorstep, to encourage partnerships that are mutually beneficial and engaging. Programming, bringing the rich stories to life through imaginative interpretation to ensure we delivery the very best visitor experience are key to the success of this senior management role.
As a member of the Property Leadership Team (6 in total), you’ll play an important role in delivering our ambitions to remain the leading attractions on Merseyside.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take the lead on creating and delivering dynamic visitor experiences of the highest standard whilst line manging 3 member of the visitor experience team. Working in partnership with local communities collaboratively and sustainably. You’ll adopt national programming opportunities as well as creating bespoke events and inclusive opportunities for engagement, in particular at Speke Hall.
The interpretation of the properties in the portfolio will be your responsibility, supported by experts from the Trust Consultancy. We aim to improve upon the quality of the visitor experience, whether that’s the presentation of the property, through to the the genuine warm , informed welcome our visitors receive, through the different ways our visitors spend their time with us, so that it is memorable, rewarding, meaningful and provoking.
Ultimately you’ll influence and deliver all aspects of the visitor experience with the support of a small team of colleagues to ensure programming is aligned to support the ambitions of the portfolio and the Trust.
