HOME is looking to appoint an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & DEPUTY CEO to join the senior management team reporting to the Director & CEO.

We are at a crucial stage of development as the organisation moves into the second period of Arts Council NPO funding where we seek to grow through developing audiences and building local and international partnerships.

You will play a leading role in developing the organisation’s strategic priorities and lead the delivery of key aspects where appropriate. You will be key to ensuring that HOME is a well-managed third sector business with a growing annual turnover in excess of £6.5m creating great artistic experiences for our audiences and delivering significant social and economic benefit for the city region.

You will lead the Business and Operations Directorate including the Finance, Administration, Legal, People (HR), Development, Operations, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Marketing & Communications functions.  This will provide the operational foundation that enables the Artistic Directorate of Theatre, Visual Arts and Film, to deliver the artistic aims of the organisation through our programme of presented, produced and co-produced work.

HOME opened to the public in May 2015.  The new building and new organisation has changed the artistic landscape in the city and made an important contribution to artistic practice nationally and internationally. HOME has established a distinctive programming and production cycle of high quality cross-artform, theatre, art and film in the city, region and UK known for high quality work in the constituent art forms and for developing practice that explores the intersection of these.  The organisation is financially stable, well governed and has very strong civic support.  HOME is co-producing with national and international partners, growing audiences and is extending into hard to reach communities.

You will be part of an exciting forward-looking organisation working with a wide range of artists, partners and stakeholders.

If you can share our ambition and have the skills, knowledge and experience to do the job, please send your CV and cover letter to james@trippassociates.co.uk
