Engagement Manager – 37.5 hours per week, £30,172 plus staff benefits
The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
We are looking for an Engagement Manager to lead on the planning, management, delivery and evaluation of The Lowry’s ‘Focus projects’ and targeted engagement work. The programme supports young people experiencing challenging circumstances including Young Carers, Looked After Children, Young Parents and Young People At Risk or Experiencing Homelessness. The role will require you to develop and maintain positive and sustainable relationships with participants and supporting agencies.
This role is an exciting opportunity to co-design creative projects with young people, artists and partner organisations. The Engagement Manager will bring together high quality artists with young people with complex needs, to explore self-expression, political thought and creative ideas, making work which challenges the world to stop and listen.
A proven ability to work with children, young people and community groups is essential, in addition to the ability to drive creative ideas from conception through to completion. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Salford geography and communities as well as key agencies and networks. Experience of project and budget management is essential.
