Bluecoat, Liverpool’s centre for the contemporary arts, is seeking a Digital Project Manager to complete the delivery of My Bluecoat, a programme and website which will investigate the many connections between Bluecoat’s story and the history of the city of Liverpool. The website will allow current visitors to learn more about Bluecoat’s history and create opportunities to share Bluecoat’s heritage with a new audience.
The appointed Digital Project Manager will be responsible for driving all aspects of the website completion and launch, integrating a new digital presence in the building and embedding new digital protocols to support the ongoing archival process at Bluecoat. This opportunity is also open to both freelancers and companies.
Last year, Bluecoat celebrated 300 years of its distinctive Grade One listed building, the oldest in Liverpool city centre. The tercentenary celebrations provided us with a unique opportunity to share our rich heritage, to engage with new artists, audiences and stakeholders, and to create an inspirational vision for Bluecoat’s future. Consequently, we are now entering an exciting period of development as a centre for artists at the heart of the city, with ambitious plans to extend the impact and reach of our work and to enhance the presentation and sustainability of our building.
