The role of the Digital Marketing Apprentice is to support the Business Development Manager and the Marketing Team in the delivery of its marketing activity to increase ticket sales, develop audiences, build the brand and raise the profile of the Theatre and its assets through digital and marketing activity.

Job Purpose
Responsible to the Business Development Manager, the Digital Marketing Apprentice will support the delivery of marketing activity, build the theatre’s digital profile and create imaginative ways to reach new audiences.
Principle Duties
- Support the Digital Executive in the delivery of digital marketing activity including
- e-newsletters and sense check customer digital experience
- Upload sales content and priorities for sales targets
- Video content, pictures
- Develop groups database and communications matrix
- Social Media management, engagement and delivery supporting digital and communications messages
- Pro-active sales to groups, identify targets in line with outreach and programme
- Setting Up and Managing events on Box Office Booking system
- Regular shifts on Box Office, dealing with bookings and customer queries in person and on the phone
- Supporting the Business Development Manager with activity to generate fundraising income
- Campaign insights and evaluation
- Occasional weekend and evening work when required
- Supporting the Marketing and Customer Experience teams with ad hoc duties when required
The successful candidate will:
Essential
- Be able to articulate and communicate at all levels
- Be confident and personable
- Relevant work experience is desirable, but not essential
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and similar packages
- Experience of dealing with customers in person and online
Desirable
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and similar programmes
- Experience working in a front of house or similar role, preferably on box office
