Development Officer, Bluecoat
Salary: £18,000 – £20,000 p/a (pro rata for p/t) dependent on experience. Initially a one year contract.
Responsible to: Head of Development
Hours: Negotiable. Between 22.5 and 37.5 hours per week
Annual Holidays: 33 days including bank holidays (which may be worked, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve when Bluecoat is closed)(pro rata for p/t)
The Development Officer will play a vital role in the delivery of Bluecoat’s plans to diversity our funding streams. Working alongside our Head of Development the post holder will help implement our fundraising strategy and have opportunities to develop and grow into all aspects of a career in fundraising. This will include opportunities in trust and foundation, individual and regular giving, corporates, major donors, community fundraising, onsite and online engagement and more. The role is especially suited to someone taking their first or second step in a fundraising career and will include the opportunity to undertake professional fundraising qualifications as well as other training opportunities and being mentored by our experienced Head of Development.
