Dance Development Artist for Cheshire West & Chester Borough
£23,347 (0.8 FTE) pro-rata, permanent
28 hrs/week – Time Off In Lieu system operates
20 days annual leave + days for Christmas closure + Pension + NHS matched maternity benefit
Cheshire Dance is looking for a highly motivated dynamic individual who is passionate about dance and its value in society.  The successful applicant will join a vibrant dance ecology and successful organisation. They will have previous experience of; dance development in community and education settings, delivering and leading high quality activity, initiating and managing projects, responding to and influencing partnership priorities and establishing new dance opportunities.
They will be an advocate for the transformative power of dance and be able to collaborate with partners to achieve shared goals, transferring their skills and knowledge into the role. In addition, they will value their own creative practice as they will others, be a natural organiser and a great communicator.

Cheshire Dance is a registered charity that leads the artistic provision and support of dance across the area, ensuring everyone has access to dance and can benefit from its transformative power. It engages participants and audiences of all ages, abilities and other Protected Characteristic groups. It employs experienced artists, renowned for their person-centre and inclusive practice and it partners with organisations across the arts, voluntary and public sectors. Cheshire Dance co-designs, produces and promotes bespoke projects and events in response to need and artistic ambition. It programmes Continuing Professional Development opportunities and supports more than 30 regular groups.
