Culture Warrington are looking for an outstanding, innovative, inspirational and experienced leader to join Culture Warrington’s Management Team to take responsibility for leading the Outreach & Engagement Team, build upon the achievements and strengths of the company, and share their knowledge and experience to further raise the company’s standards and reputation. Two key projects for the post holder is to develop the Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival through their network of cultural and arts organisations and artists to strengthen and broaden the festival; in turn creating new opportunities that enliven and enhance the individual and the collective experience for all. Secondly, the post will lead and coordinate Culture Warrington’s application to become a National Portfolio Organisation, through creating an integrated strategy for a cultural arts program and service reaching across all Culture Warrington venues.
Strong, proven leadership and management skills are essential as is a passion for success with an ability to relate and engage with stakeholders, partners and board members. Excellent communication skills and experience leading and inspiring diverse teams with the ability to create a proactive culture.
You will have experience of developing strategies to develop cultural programmes, generate income and responding to commissions that have achieved positive results. Proven experience of managing high profile projects and implementing change to create cultural arts opportunities that are strategically aligned with the company’s Business Plan. In addition, you will have excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to work with and liaise with stakeholders, commissioners and potential funders and sponsors. The ability to conduct research, analyse and evaluate data is also important.
