Salary: £16,016.00 – £17,076.80 per annum
Working Week:Â 40 hours per week (with some evenings and weekends)
Minimum Essential Requirements: 18 years old or over (with work authorisation for the UK)
Location: The Royal Exchange Theatre (with opportunities to spend time at other venues)
We are currently seeking Creative Venue Technician (CVT) Apprentices to work at our theatre. Our 2-year Apprenticeship begin in January 2020 and include both training and study through The National College Creative Industries for a Level 3 Creative Venue Technician Apprenticeship Standard.  The Creative Venue Technician Apprenticeship could lead to a career as a Venue Technician, Theatre Technician, Stage Technician, Lightning Technician, Sound Technician, Video Technician and Automation Technician.
As a CVT Apprentice, you will play an active part in the technical operation of the venue, working on such element as lighting, audio and scene changes and using a variety of tools to make, install and maintain scenery and other equipment. You will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a college Industry Practitioner, RET technical staff and the Factory Academy
