We are looking for an innovative, creative person to join the Arts Team at Cheshire West and Chester. The Arts Development Officer will support arts development initiatives that contribute to the strategic plans of Cheshire West and Chester Council, increase access to the arts for the local community and support growth of the local cultural ecology.

The role will nurture and support arts development initiatives that contribute to the cultural landscape across Cheshire. A key role will be to focus on delivery of strategic arts projects in Mid-Cheshire and increase access to the arts for the local community.
We are interested in an experienced arts professional who has a strategic mindset, with the ability to create, co-ordinate and manage partnerships and thrive working within non arts contexts. The role includes devising and managing project development and delivery alongside creative community engagement. Other key responsibilities will include the ability to develop funding applications, regular monitoring and reporting on the programme to funders and stakeholders alongside budget management and control.
