Chester Performs is seeking a committed team of Creative Collaborators to devise and deliver a series of themed workshops and activities during WayWord festival 2016. The programme of fun and imaginative drop-in activities for children and their families will take place across the festival venues throughout the half term week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for recent arts graduates or those with a creative background. The successful candidates must be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. We are looking for committed, enthusiastic and motivated people with a can-do attitude with the ability to work well under pressure.
You will be required to imagine, create and facilitate a range of workshops and activities for children aged 4-11 years. Selected activities will be developed during a Creative Collaborator workshop day early February. During the festival one or more Creative Collaborators will be located at each venue to deliver activities, those stationed in libraries will be supported by a librarian.
Some previous experience of working with Children necessary!
